The latest report from Astound Insights, Transforming the Global Healthcare Consumer Journey: Now and Beyond Covid-19, which surveyed 1,000 global healthcare consumers, revealed:

  1. Virtual visits increased by 88% since the onset of the pandemic
  2. 41% utilized a telehealth appointment to speak to their healthcare provider
  3. Use of appointment scheduling via online portals increased by 39%
  4. Globally, more than 60% of patients surveyed feel they do not have adequate access to healthcare
