Challenge

As Goldwell approached pivotal brand evolution, sharpening its identity around colour expertise and salon craftsmanship, it became clear that the digital experience was not keeping pace. Across multiple regional markets, website journeys were fragmented and inconsistent, making it difficult to present a coherent brand story or guide visitors toward meaningful next steps. The existing site served as an informational presence but had not yet evolved to meet the expectations of a modern, conversion-driven digital experience. There were no clear pathways for salon professionals to engage further, register interest, or become a Goldwell customer or partner. The gap between the brand’s ambitions and its digital reality was significant and closing it required more than visual refreshment.

Conversion pathways were mapped for each audience type, including a streamlined route for salon professionals to create an account and access Goldwell’s B2B ecosystem. With the strategic and experience blueprint in place, our creative teams translated this into designs that elevated the Goldwell brand while remaining grounded in technical feasibility and real-world implementation considerations.
