Challenge

Pearl Cruises, a global cruise line with 16 ships visiting over 350 ports, offers a range of itineraries including exclusive access to Pearl Cay in the Bahamas. Despite its world-class experiences, Pearl faced challenges with its digital add-on booking system. The fragmented platform required separate cart experiences for Shore Excursions, Spa, and Dining, lacked online dining reservations, and relied heavily on manual processes for changes. Performance issues arose from excessive API calls, and the outdated interface hindered customer experience.
